Live since August 7, 2026 with credit-based generation.

Seedance 2.5 Pricing — What You Actually Get
Credit-Based Access on ImagineToVideo
Seedance 2.5 uses credits on ImagineToVideo. The $0.99 Starter Pack for new accounts holds 30 credits — that covers a Seedance 2.0 clip at 5 seconds, 480p; Seedance 2.5 runs start at 40 credits.
The Real Access Picture
ByteDance may offer separate quotas in Jimeng AI and Doubao. ImagineToVideo prices Seedance 2.5 runs in credits and gives none away; the cheapest way in is the one-time $0.99 Starter Pack.
Draft Cheap, Then Go Big
Credits scale with duration and resolution: draft at 480p on short takes, then re-run the winning prompt at 720p or stretch to a full 30-second single pass. Seedance 2.0 Fast remains the cheapest drafting lane.
Your Prompts Carried Over
Everything you practiced on Seedance 2.0 — reference images, reference videos, audio-aware prompting — works the same way on 2.5, with lip-synced dialogue on top: put spoken lines in double quotes.
How to Configure a Seedance Generation
Judge 2.5 with Your Own Prompt
Use a prompt you know well to see what the new model changes for your work.
Test the Lip-Sync
Put a spoken line in double quotes and watch 2.5 generate matching lip movement and voice in the same pass.
Bring a Reference
Use credits to upload a character or product image and test reference-locked consistency.
Then Pick Your Lane
Stay on 2.5 for 30-second takes and dialogue, or draft on cheaper Seedance 2.0 Fast and finish on 2.5 — both live in the same picker.
How to Generate with Seedance 2.5
Use credits on the settings that matter
Choose a Seedance Plan
Seedance 2.5 generation is priced in credits, starting at 40 credits per clip. The $0.99 Starter Pack (30 credits, valid for 30 days) is for trying the platform on Seedance 2.0; 2.5 itself takes a plan.
Configure the Run
Use a prompt that shows off what 2.5 does best: a short story beat with spoken dialogue in double quotes, or a reference image to lock a character. Audio comes synchronized in the same pass.
Compare Against 2.0
Seedance 2.0 and 2.0 Fast stay live alongside 2.5 at lower credit costs — re-run the same prompt on both and see which trade-off fits: 2.5's 30-second takes and lip-sync vs 2.0's 1080p ceiling and cheaper drafts.
Generate with Credits
Plans price Seedance generations in credits by duration and resolution; reference and video-to-video runs on 2.5 are billed at a discounted rate.
Seedance 2.5 Pricing FAQ
Is Seedance 2.5 free?
No. Seedance 2.5 is credit-based on ImagineToVideo, starting at 40 credits per clip, and we don't give credits away. New accounts can buy a $0.99 Starter Pack of 30 credits — enough for a Seedance 2.0 clip to try the platform, with a plan needed for 2.5 itself.
Where can I try Seedance 2.5 for free right now?
ImagineToVideo offers Seedance 2.5 through credit-based plans. ByteDance may provide separate access in Jimeng AI and Doubao.
Can I use Seedance 2.5 free on ImagineToVideo?
No. There are no free generations on ImagineToVideo. Seedance 2.5 runs start at 40 credits, while the $0.99 Starter Pack holds 30 credits — enough for one Seedance 2.0 clip; generating with 2.5 itself requires a plan.
What does a paid Seedance 2.5 generation include?
Depending on the selected credit tier, Seedance supports up to 30 seconds with synchronized audio, lip-synced dialogue and reference inputs.
Is a site offering unlimited free Seedance 2.5 legit?
Now that an official API exists (FAL), legitimate platforms can run the real Seedance 2.5 — ImagineToVideo does. Still be skeptical of "unlimited free" offers: generation has real per-second costs, so unlimited free access is not economically real. Check what model is actually credited on the output. We don't offer free generations either: our lowest entry point is a $0.99 Starter Pack, and we say so up front.
How much does Seedance 2.5 cost?
Generations are priced in credits that scale with duration and resolution — short 480p drafts cost the least, a full 30-second 720p take costs the most, and reference/video-to-video runs are billed at a discounted rate. See the pricing page for current plans and credit amounts.
